PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) can reduce your chance of getting HIV from sex or injection drug use. When taken as prescribed, PrEP is highly effective for preventing HIV.

It is essential to talk to your healthcare provider to determine if PrEP is right for you.

Post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) is a crucial preventive measure for individuals who may have been exposed to HIV. PEP involves taking antiviral medications or other preventive measures within 72 hours of potential exposure to reduce the risk of HIV infection. It’s essential to seek medical attention as quickly as possible. A swift response is necessary to assess the need for PEP and begin treatment promptly.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends at least once every 3 months if you:

  • Are taking PrEP
  • Have recently been treated for a STI
  • Having sex with multiple partners
  • Have any IV drug use

We offer testing for HIV, Hepatitis C, Syphilis, Chlamydia, and Gonorrhea. We also offer testing for oral and rectal Gonorrhea and Chlamydia, ensuring comprehensive assessment. Additionally, we offer DOXY PEP prescriptions for your convenience.
